The Manufacturers section lists PKU products from commercial manufacturers such as Mevalia, Loprofin, Vitaflo, Metax or Nutricia. Unlike the other ingredients, these are paid listings: the manufacturers pay to have their products shown here.

Where the data comes from

The nutrient values — such as Phe, protein and energy — come directly from the manufacturer and are not editorially reviewed by phenyx. Treat them as manufacturer-supplied figures rather than the editorially maintained values you see for the rest of the ingredients.

Why we still show them

These products are useful in everyday life for many people managing PKU. We disclose the paid arrangement openly so that you can judge how reliable the figures are for yourself, instead of mistaking them for neutral, vetted data.
